We’ve put together a little video of everyone who we donated Easter Eggs to last week. It’s been great to see so many of you doing Easter Egg hunts, we’re glad we could bring a bit a joy during these difficult times! Thank you for all the lovely comments, stay safe everyone!

We had some lovely donations of chocolate eggs over the Easter weekend and today we’d like to thank all those involved. A large delivery of over 1,300 Easter eg...gs was made by Mark Loades, whose niece works as a Healthcare Assistant on Ward 18. He kindly raised money to provide eggs to staff working over the Easter weekend to show his appreciation for all the work our team are doing, and came to the hospital with Mark Turrell to drop off the haul. Our Pharmacy team received a fantastic donation of eggs on Thursday 9 April from EU Linco Car Parts Lowestoft branch and Great Yarmouth Tesco Extra. Meanwhile Great Yarmouth and Caister Golf Club were due to hold their annual Easter fundraiser on Good Friday but, as the club is currently closed due to the national restrictions, they donated 120 eggs to our hospital instead. Another Easter Egg donation to the wonderful Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service, thank you for all your hard work during these times! Happy Easter!

We’ve been on the road this morning donating a load more Easter Eggs to A Better Start Southend and to schools around Basildon who have vulnerable or underprivileged children and the children of the amazing key workers, including Woodlands Secondary School, Fairhouse Junior School and Northlands Primary School Thank you for all your work during these hard times!

We wanted to say a big thank you to the front-line staff for all their hard work in these unprecedented times so we have donated over 70 Easter Eggs across the James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and St John Ambulance Gorleston! We are very grateful for everything you’re doing, thank you!
